My face in another place

Here is a note from my friend Balu Nayar:

"I read your update of today, and it struck me that I really like reading them, and that FB is a bit too transient for these. Your wife, grandkids, your friends, even your milkman. It would really make sense to collect them all and put them together in a blog. I'd love to re-read them, and I'm sure there are many others who would like to - and they may not be your FB friends. It's not to much work too"

Last night I went through some of my old posts in FB. My question to myself

"Would I be interested in reading them, if they were not written by me?"

I could not emphatically say NO. 

Therefore I am taking this plunge.
